Lux Touch

Do you like RISK?  If so, you'll like to play Lux Touch.  It is a quick action game that brings RISK play to the iPad.  You don't have wait very long for your turn either.  At the start of the action, you place your troops and can battle other armies.  Just be sure you don't over extend your forces.  Action is fast paced and you can finish a game in just a few minutes.  Check it out! - Mr. Schmidt

7 Little Words

7 Little Words gives a unique twist on the basic word building game.  You are given parts of words that you can use to answer/solve 7 'crossword style' hints.  The length of each word is given, but that's about it.  This game is addictive, but better for the older crowd as a students vocabulary needs to be fairly thorough to be successful.

OutWorded

Outworded is a word find game that challenges your ability to quickly find words.  You can choose easy through hard difficulty.  As you set your time, you can try to find all the words quickly.  It also allows you to challenge others in the 2 player mode.  In 2 player, you complete the puzzle and then your opponent has a turn.  Whoever has the most words found wins!  Feel free to challenge Mr. Schmidt at SchmidtMaster.

Power of 2!

This app is AMAZING.  Technically, it is classified as a 'MATH' app, but it works on logic and matching skills too.  In the app, players match up tiles of like numbers which then combine and become the sum of the numbers.  i.e. 1 + 1 becomes 2.  The goal is to create the highest number tile possible.  (My record is currently a 512 tile).  Players are given points and 'coins'.  Coins can be used to purchase shuffles.
